KUNJUNG (Auckland) Heartfelt thanks to all our special guests and participants who joined us for our Saga Dawa event on Saturday 13 June 2026.

Around 150 people participated in the morning and afternoon Puja with mantra recitations of Guru Rinpoche. A grand vegetarian lunch was offered to all, and tea and special sweet rice were served during Puja sessions. We continued in the afternoon with a long life blessing and Ganachakra Tsok Offering.

During the day, Ku Sung Thukten offerings were made by the Global Bhutanese Forum and the Bhutanese Association of New Zealand to Venerable Pong Re Rinpoche.

The goal of 100,000 Guru Rinpoche mantra recitations was accomplished and indeed exceeded by the afternoon.

A letter of Appreciation to Rinpoche was read by the Bhutanese Association President, and a short performance offering of music and song concluded this auspicious occasion.
